State of the Guild Address

Okay for those of you who are unclear about what I called last night this is the plan:

www.mmo-champion.com Please go there, look up professions read about the expansion. Constant updates and now beta testing will indicate that it's closer than you probably think. I'm guessing by the end of the 4th quarter this year (December) possibly sooner. BC came out in January.

I am calling off anymore advancing raids into T5/T6 content.

If any of you would like to step up and lead us farther into T5 content please do so. Until then we will be just doing kara, gruuls/mags to farm badges and get the new folks used to raid chemistry.

Speaking of chemistry, my heartburn as of late has been horrible with the pressures of raiding, recruiting, no-shows and complaining about progression, along with working so many real-life jobs. I have really started to hate the game which may surprise a lot of you who have played with me for so long. Many of you might not see the small remarks made about people not showing up, about how officers are slacking, about how folks don’t follow directions during raids, about how people aren’t geared enough and about how they’re thinking about applying to other guilds.

How many of you have seen these? How many of you have made them yourself?

Of course you can’t see the whispers I receive but some are made publically. How many of you have been the ones to actually make a comment about no shows? How many of you have made a no-show comment one week and then not shown yourself the next week?
Additionally how many of you have made comments about lack of progression or people not following instructions and then in the next fight didn’t interrupt like you were supposed to, moved during flame wreathe on accident, or didn’t jump into the water like you were supposed to.

It’s funny how so many people have mirrors but don’t look into them.

Perhaps I am too lenient with raiders and that’s why we haven’t progressed as fast as people would like. Since we’re just sticking to familiar raids from here on out I understand if people would like to experience end game content with other guilds and invite you to do so. Please apply and get as much gameplay in as possible elsewhere before the expansion, you after all pay to play.
If you have another GM contact me in game about you as a reference I would love to do so. So many people take it personally if someone leaves a guild to try to experience raiding somewhere else but I assure you I do not. I realize by not expanding more into T5 content I will lose some people and am okay with that if I can see my friends loot up and come back and teach me how to take down bosses.

Our current raid schedule will continue.

Tuesday- 25 man raid
Thursday- 10man raids
Sunday- 10 man raids

Genesis ventures into The Eye and downs void reaver with friends in Facktion on our first attempt.

On February 29 Genesis teamed with Team Duck Tape to walk into Gruuls Lair and successfully dropped High King Maulger in our first attempt.

Additionally both Kara teams Exodus and Revelations have been filled and are well into their first full week of Kara raiding. Good luck to both teams and keep up the hard work!

New class based forums are located in the message boards. This will enable raiders to share experiences, strategies and gear.
